Sick day

Today, I didn't feel so good. This morning I had a fever and was drooling and crying and sneezing. Mommy held me a lot and that made me feel better. I didn't really want to play, I just laid down when Mom put me on my play blanket. Mom gave me that goofy red stuff they call Tylenol. I guess it does help. I cry less and sleep better, at least. I took my naps while Mom held me. I put my head on her shoulder and snuggled.
Then when I woke up from my afternoon nap, I was happier. Mom dressed me up and we went to sit outside. It's really warm. I sat up on the soft blanket and giggled. I watched birds and the neighbor's dog. I played with Singing Pig. He's the pig from Moo Baa! And now I can hug him.
Then I had dinner, and Mom and Dad tried to feed me this soupy green stuff. Green beans they called it. I am not a fan, but I'll bet they try it again. We'll see.
Now I'm a little feverish again, and being crabby. Daddy is holding me and cuddling me. I think I'll be better soon, but this is no fun. Oh, sneezes! Dad did just get me to smile at the baby in the mirror, so maybe tonight will get better. Let's hope so!
