Ouches!

Look at all my bandaids! I got six shots today. Yes, it was checkup day for Sara. I am a peanut girl, I weigh 18 pounds and 11 ounces. I am 29.5 inches tall! The doctor said I am a happy healthy girl, except that my hemoglobin was a little low. So after all those shots I had to go get blood drawn at the hospital. I was very brave all day long. The girl drawing blood did a very good job and I don't even have a bruise. I hugged Mommy when it was all over and then I was OK. I was even better when we walked outside. One of the pet therapy dogs was coming in and I got to pet her! I stopped sniffling right away when I saw her. I said "doggie!" Her owner brought her over and she licked my fingers and I gave her a hug. She had a sparkly collar that I admired.
After all that poking we went to visit Great Grandma. Grandma was there and so was Aunt Ellen with Ally and Andrew. Allison and I had fun playing. I found Great Grandma's phone and pretended to talk to Ally. Andrew was very good and very cute. He is getting to be such a big baby!
I was hungry when I got home! I drank my bottle gone and ate a jar of vegetable beef dinner (it has iron in it!) Then I had chicken bits and water in my sippy while Mom and Dad ate. Ozzy begged for my bits and I dropped a couple just for him.
I was fussy after dinner so Daddy gave my Tylenol and Mommy nursed me and snuggled me. I am snuggling my blankie and my baby bear and sleeping away!

Sara, you were such a big girl at the doctor today. Grandma was glad I could see you this afternoon. Gram will try not to worry about your low blood count...I'm sure it will be okay.
Love you!
Grandma Z.
